PROBLEM: to revive an inactive magazine from before the 2000s and redesign it for today. Fuck You / A Magazine of the Arts was chosen, a literary magazine founded in 1962 in New York City known for pushing free expression and challenging taboos. My group of three focused on creating an AI-themed issue exploring whether artificial intelligence will take over creative art.
SOLUTION: we revived Fuck You! / A Magazine of the Arts as a modern AI-themed issue, using bold typography, high-contrast layouts, and provocative imagery to match the magazine’s rebellious voice. The final design combines an aggressive visual system with structured editorial spreads to spark conversation about AI’s impact on creative work.
